For the second year in a row, I returned to Lima, OH to serve as a judge for the 2019 Next Magic Mike contest. I love going to Somewhere Nightclub in Lima, OH because I always get to reconnect with friends like Trish, Daddy Rob, Armani Devine and Redd Velvet. This trip was great also because I got to meet several people in person that up until now I had only chatted with online. These included Misty Phoenix and all the male strippers (Simon, Grayson and Kit). I also met some amazing new people as well. I’m honored to add Jada Fenix-Lorez to that list.

The third contestant was Kit Wiley who was fun to watch. You could tell he was just happy to be there and was grinning from ear to ear the whole time he was competing. All three of the competitors did an excellent job in all areas. There were creative costumes, sexy dance moves, audience interaction, and spot on music selections. The judges/entertainers brought it as well. They included Redd Velvet, show hostess, Misty Phoenix, Armani Devine, Jada Fenix-Lorez, and myself. But let it be clear, I did not perform. No one would have wanted to see something like that.
The contestants were judged in three categories: creativity, overall appearance and audience participation. Each category was given a score from 1-5 and the judges added comments based on their score.

It is very important that we make it known that Lima, OH is now famous for more than Glee. On Friday night, Oct.11, there was a double Sasquatch sighting at Somewhere nightclub. An expert on the scene told Males In Motion that the two female big foots had confirmed their species themselves. The expert claimed from his interpretation of their witty banter, they had referred to each other as Sasquatch several times during the night. Who knew that a Sasquatch would be drawn to Male Strippers but it must be so. One of the audience members captured the photo below during the event.
Based on their markings, we’ve decided to call them Redd and Misty. It is theorized that the female Bigfoots were looking for mates and were drawn to somewhere because there were naked males present. Well actually from my perspective, they were almost naked. This was the fourth year of the Next Magic Mike Contest at Somewhere. Everyone is welcome at Somewhere, including a Sasquatch or two.
